Are you looking for info on flights or accommodation or attractions or all of the above ?

Most of the action happens on International Drive, outside Orlando City.
You will find most of the hotels, restaurants and parks on or just off this strip that goes on for miles.
Public trams go up and down this strip all day and evening.
Some hotels offer a free bus service to and from the parks. Sea World was our favourite park.

We stayed at the Howard Johnson Plaza on International Drive, it was clean and simple and inexpensive, outdoor pool and jacuzzi. If it's for a stag, you probably don't want anything too expensive, but there are some spectacular hotels here if thats what you want.

We loved to eat in any of the couple of Ponderossa steak houses. :pac::pac::pac::pac::pac::D

We went in to Orlando city for a day, not really worth it, although getting the local bus to the city that travels through some dodgy neighbourhoods was interesting.
We went up north on a day trip to the Kennedy space centre. Very good, but up very early and long bus trip. Hardly worth it, unless you have a big interest in this sort of thing.
We took an overnight trip down south to Miami beach, not really worth either.

Nightlife is slack enough in Orlando. Well pub wise anyway. There are night clubs allright. Church st. in downtown would be a nightlife area.
