running shoe

    im looking for a running shoe , i always wear asics and want to stay with them .

    what is the best one to go for ,the plan is to do some 10ks .

    No best shoe, it depends on what suits the individual. What model are you wearing ATM.? And how much running have you done in them?

    Like this poster said it depends on the individual and the way your foot hits the ground. You can get a test done that takes about 30 seconds in Runways Parnell st, its free and it will enable you to understand the kind of shoe that suits you best.

    its only running cross country at the moment and a lot of cycling .im using a pair of gore.tex duomax

    You need the right shoe, not just the right brand. I'm a big fan of Asics due to the relatively narrow fit, but I have a pair of Kinsei II that I'll never wear again. On the other hand I love the DS Trainer and Hyperspeed 3. A good shop will be able to help - Runways, Amphibian King, Elverys...
