Anyone know if Music Maker open on Sundays? I thought I heard recently that they did but I'm not sure and their website is non-existant now.

I need to get a speaker cable and was out in Xmusic earlier but they just had 15ft ones. Who the hell needs that long of a speaker cable?!

Speaker cable goes from head to 4x12 cab or similar.

Yeah, well.. music maker are closed.

I don't see the point in having 5 or 10ft of extra cable laying around on the floor getting in the way.

**** it, maybe I'll try make my own.

It also goes from a power amp to a speaker which is usually more than 2' away! :D

Sorry Dord, my first thought wasnt heads and cabs. I would have called that a speaker patch lead. You say potato...yada yada.

Patch leads are the thinner cables connecting effect pedals. We all use different terms at times. Lol.

Why the feck would anyone want a 10ft speaker cable.:)

My mate used 'daisy chain' to describe a patch cable once. The weird bit is, he thought my responsive rant was over-the-top...

Daisy chain leads are the ones used on effects pedal power supplies. Usually to power a few pedals off a Boss or one-spot PSU.

I think it's stupid people giving their own names for cables. It just makes it extremely confusing and a pain in the bollox. Also, you could end up having a nasty accident if someone hands you the wrong cable and you plug it in.

I run a speaker cable across the stage to another cab so I have one that's a few metres long. The longer speaker cables are normally for running to speakers in a PA though.
