I need ideas for a fancy dress costume..

    I'm going to a fancy dress disco next week and have no idea what to go as. Seeing as it's a bank holiday I'll probably have to use my own clothes. Does anyone have any ideas for a costume to suit a 16 year old? Any ideas would be really helpful,I can never think of costumes :P

    I'm still looking for ideas, most of the ones on the internet are for Halloween so it's hard to find anything. Any more suggestions would be really helpful.

    Whats the difference between a halloween costume and fancy dress?

    Go as an angel, its always easy. Wear white clothes and get some angel wings and a halo in a joke shop

    Wear contrasting colours and textures, paint a lightning bolt on your face, and get a blond wig, and go as Lady Gaga

    I would agree with that, but no body seems to carry that tradition, especially with the amount of little bo peeps etc. The thread I linked was a mix of everything really

    Plus, just cos its not halloween doesnt mean you cant dress up as a witch

    Yeah I was thinking of Lady Gaga or Madonna or something. Theres a group of girls going as KISS which should be funny.

    Going as a hippie is easy too. skirt and scarves and every necklace you own.
