I can't stand their obsession with 'Two and a half men.' It's not even funny.

It's the kind of programme that really should only be shown once a year, as it takes a whole year to stop laughing.

A refreshing, honest programme, full of nuance. Ample material in each episode to do a PhD on.

Could be worse, could be sex and the city. I didn't even realise it was a comedy until I saw it on the channel

Though maybe it'll fizzle out in a year or two...

Then who knows what we'll have to suffer watching

I'd agree with that sentiment, and that sentiment only!

I do marvel when I realise these shows like 2.5men have been getting renewed for several years despite the clear awfulness of their content and the constant negative feedback I hear/read.

I figure *someone* must like shows like 2.5men but I never do enounter same.

Comedy Central are showing Season 4 of The US Office in a few days. They often show Season 1-3 too. I suggest that ye give it a go, it's a brill comedy. But I'd stop at Season 4 as Season 5 and 6 aren't great.

Also what happened to Fraiser on Comedy Central? They don't show it as often which is a pity because it's a great show. I never watched it when it first aired, I only started when Paramount Comedy/Comedy Central showed the re-runs and loved it.

The only eps. i found to be very funny were those with Candy, you could just write for days with a character like her :-)

I think Comedy Central should pull the finger out and start showing reruns of Married With Children...

All the good shows are on Comedy Central Extra. They recently tossed 30 Rock over there, where it joins Frasier, MASH, old South Park, The Office and a good few other shows. Every so often they decide to show some good old school British comedies too.

While Comedy Central shows 2.5 Men and Scrubs on a constant loop, intersperced with Lee Evans gigs.

comedy central should replace all the slots that 2 and a half men have with the trailer park boy's

Some shows Comedy Central should think about acquiring:

    Freaks and Geeks,
    Community,
    Chuck,
    Seinfeld,
    Entourage,
    Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia,
    Curb Your Enthusiasm,
Saturday Night Live (Im surprised no UK channel shows this).

Now that they've took the rights of Friends off Channel 4, we can look forward to constant re-runs of Friends.

I don't understand why "Two And A Half Men" keeps getting renewed.

    I'll +1 that my friend,

I watch a classic like hot shots and a cringe when I see CS on it.

I suppose they don't care about critical acclaim as much as ratings/money. That's why it's still going.

you know 90% of satellite/cable TV is utter braindead crap, they're just glorified video machines churning out wall to wall fraiser, friends, top gear, dog whisperer, most haunted etc etc

its all about ad revenue other than viewer entertainment

Anybody know when they're going to stop showing this?

I mean today...now...this weekend...it offends me just seeing it on the guide.

I can handle King of Queens cause Jerry Stiller is genius.

It's weird that no British channel has bought in Seinfeld. I know it ran unsuccessfully on the BBC briefly a few years ago, but I would have thought it would be a good filler for a digital channel, like Friends is.
