I thought Quade Cooper was going to have a bad day, but whoa, he got a cracker of a try there. Good game so far. Cat Burglar is brilliant this year.

edit: oops, could someone move this to rugby.

    I love Cooper's kicking style

Reds try from a forward pass, though Hynes counter-attack was so good it deserved a score really. 9-21

I put money on either Cooper, Ione, Morahan or Braid to get the first try of the half and then Chambers gets one from a forward pass. Reds are class though.

The Reds' handling is something to behold.

    30-28 to Sharks. Brilliant game.

What a joke of a decision. Ndungane should have been carded for hands in the ruck, but instead wins the Sharks the game.

I really wanted the Reds to win that.

Considering some of the decisions the Sharks had go against then on their Australian leg I think they were due one back.

Im worried about how we will fare in the RWC as QC grows into his role.
He really has come on this year and his confidence is huge some of the passes, offloads and forward backs interchanges will be hard to combat for us.

The test in June will be very interesting, Ill try and stir up QC in the pubs afterwards and get him in trouble ;)

I certainly dont think ROG will be able to defend against him, hopefully JS will have his kicking game back in order come D day !

A 9/10/10 combo of Genia/Cooper/Giteau is something to be feared.

I'd like to see Cooper maintain his levels over the full season, the likes of Burger and McCaw will really he target him in the Tri Nations. I would expect him to get a few late hits and a smack in the chops early in every game.

I still think his temperament is a huge weakness

The whole team is becoming something to be feared. They have players among the best in the world in nearly every position (maybe not in the back 3, or at 13).

At outside centre they have Ioane, AAC and Horne. At fullback I think you're right. They've some super players who play there but most of them are best suited to other positions on the field.

They have Cooper, Giteau or Barnes who on form can be a top class 10 or 12s. Scary.

Australia are a good bet for the World Cup. Imagine a team that, possibly, could have Giteau on the bench!

Don't think any team in the world could put a fit Giteau on the bench.

And Deans won't, but given two positions, 10 and 12, and three players, Cooper, Barnes and Giteau, he could be forgiven for leaving Giteau out. Personally i'd favour Giteau over Barnes.
