    Hey Op first off never think of looking good,Majority of people are unhappy about something about themselves.How you get a girl to like you,Confidence and funny and friendly.
    The whole bad boy stuff is rubbish.Girls who like them and are only after guys for looks and money you dont want anyway.You have better chance then the bad boy overly good looking guys to find a girl.As they can never be sure if the girl is with them for looks or money.
    Always remember what someone else's James dean is another's Albert Einstein lol.Every one likes different looks in someone.But personality is the most important thing.If a guy is not gorgeous in my eyes and i get to know him he becomes good looking and vice a versa.
    Just be yourself and friendly and show you are interested.
    If you find your life is boring then shake it up a bit by doing outdoor stuff and get into some boxing or things like that.Have fun.Don't worry about meeting a girl just do it.
    You may be not boring at all and what other girls find boring in other people might find fun in you.

    There's no secret formula. Basically just either be confident in who you are or work on yourself until you find that confidence. If you would feel better with a better body or a new haircut or a better vocabulary, work on those things.

    Otherwise, just plain ask her out. You've nothing to lose. Either you ask her out and she says no and you avoid the wondering and the possible "friendzone" or you ask her out and she says yes and it's good times all around.

    Don't put girls on pedestals. We're people too. Just talk to us like you'd talk to any other person on the planet. And don't ever compromise yourself to please us, show a little backbone.

    I would say to do things that you are interested in.
    Join clubs etc that centre around things that you like.
    Trust me, if a girl has similar interests to you, then you will not be boring to her as there will always be something to talk about.

    I'd also advise you to try and not be scared.
    Everyone is scared of doing things, but getting past fear is something that will make you stronger in the future.
