A new thread would be great. I'd imagine a few threads in a few different forums would spread the word. I'd imagine the wording would have to be a certain way or the moderators will close it.

Something like 'Imagine if everyone in the country send a postcard to ..........' rathern than 'Lets all send a postcard to .....'

Just my twopence hapenny worth. I'd do it but you did such a fantastic job with the clip of Charlie and everything, I wouldn't ever be able to do that...

This kind of fella couldn't give two hoots about people sending him postcards. His debts are relatively small if it is 8.5million, it's his actions or lack of, in his banking role that caused the problems. I'm sure he hasn't upped sticks overnight either, he must have property here still that could easily cover that.
It would be interesting to see how the american media respond to this though, if we could draw it to their attention.
I like the idea for the front of the postcard!

Lads and ladies... I appreciate you are all angry, believe me, I didnt buy a house in the crazy times because I was being restrained and rational... and now I have to pay for OTHER peoples houses?!

But publishing someone's home address in order to harass them is a big no no. Its also very reckless, God knows what unhinged crazy is out there reading people here suggesting sending bullets and physical violence.

Sorry, but I'm not comfortable to accept the consequences of providing a platform for that. You'll notice the journalists you linked to, none of them publish his actual address as far as I can see. Even if they did, its not something we should be supporting here. You want to go all "pitchforks and torches".... block the dail.

Well, it would be impossible to put in on our own blog with our address...oh well, then lets do it......Citizens of Ireland, Ireland. There you go. (Sorry, it would take too long to itemize all of the residents address of the above.)


It doesn't matter if he doesn't read the postcards. He's living in a nice exclusive enclave in Cape Cod. His neighbours should have a right to know what white trash has moved into their neighbourhood.

Anyway, he stamped on all of our right to enjoy our homes, jobs, pensions, etc. and didn't seem too concerned about it.

Don't bother, it would be a waste of paper. The fact that that man won't be punished showed that people today have a poor sense of justice. He needs to be made to pay for what he did and pay out the back side.

I'm not advocating shooting him as, to be honest, I don't think his life is worth the bullet. No, if it were up to me, I would take every penny he owns from him, his houses, cars, money, everything and have him thrown onto the streets of Dublin so he can continue his existence in the gutters.

That would be a far better punishment than having the traitors hanged drawn and quartered.

I'm not too sure the current president has done enough to warrant one of these postcards yet, and may not be the best way to encourage co-operation in repatriating Mr. Drumm. Also the official line (or should that be lying ) is that Shannon is not being used for rendition flights.

Never underestimate the lengths morons will go to share their stupidity with the world. Id be more suprised if there hadnt been someone stupid enough to do something like that already.

As for these campaigns against particular bankers - yes, they are chumps. Yes, they have escaped the consequences of their recklessness. But trying to pin Seanie or this Drumm chap as the cause of the problem is just a distraction - they are a symptom only. They are already past tense. Our priority needs to be the present mismanagement and the present culture in our banks, where even "public interest" directors like Dukes have gone native. Seanie and Drumm have already done their damage, its the current crop of inhouse morons we need to focus on.
