Hi,anyone have any opinions on cost plus sofas, was looking at a corner suite for about a grand, was very comfy, sturdy, seemed grand but was wondering what the quality is like, also they offer a 5-year insurance scheme where they will repair any damages, stains etc that the sofa encounters for €250 for the 5 year term.Havn't read the small print yet or committed to buy anything, appreciate any good/bad expieriences with this company/stock...many thanks..:)

Most of these 5 year insurance schemes have turned out to be major profit points for the supplier and put the applier through major hoops to prove a claim.
If it sounds too good to be true.....

I don't really see the point. Your house insurance should cover any accidental damage (make sure you check this first). In 5 years time do you really want a patch job couch or a new one? A lot of these schemes just make money on commision for the seller.
