    Hi Guys,
I've just moved to Amsterdam for work. Was wondering does anyone know of websites or expats groups or something that arrange meet ups and socials or something? Have an e mail address or anything handy?
    Many thanks.

Just back from living there, if you're into sport head to Mulligans on the Amstel. Andy that works there if heavily involved in the Amsterdam GAA set-up.

Dutch offices can be pretty good for social events too so expect to be invited on work nights out and events and that. I used to work in an Irish pub on the Warmoesstraat, just off Dam Sq., good community of Scottish and Irish expats congregate there pretty regularly.

Have you found a place to live yet?

Hey bro, cheers for that. Yeah I actually live around amstel.
I'm not so much into GAA, more boxing - this Mulligans place cater for that at all as such?

I think I read on some thread before there was a website or social group, the guy posted an e-mail address for it - they organize all types of social events for English speaking expats. Just can't seem to locate the thread on the search option..

Here are a few groups that you could look into, they organise events every week and you just sign up and go along, it's a great way to get out and about and meet new people.
