Not sure if this is the correct forum for this question. (mods please move it if ya reckon it would be better elsewhere - thanks)

I've been looking into keeping 3/4 chickens in my back garden and my main question, is how much noise do they make? Would it be too noisy for my neighbours or do they just 'cluck' away pretty low?

    thanks

Hens are fine, and make very little noise. Roosters are to be avoided TBH.
I have 12 hens and a rooster and will shortly be getting rid of the rooster, not so much for noise reasons but he is riding the hole off the hens and damaging their plumage.
