Potterton Suprima 50 - Vibrating needle

    Hi there,
We have a Potterton Suprima 50 boiler, installed in the house in 1999. Over the last few days, we have noticed that the needle on the pressure gauge vibrates for about a minute at regular intervals. I couldn't tell you exactly at what stage it vibrates but it's always at the same time in the cycle.

The boiler still works, water is hot, radiators are hot, light indicators show no fault but I'm wondering what's happening here and is there something we should do. It says on the User guide pressure should be above 0.5bar and I noticed the needle is UNDER 0.5.

Any ideas, suggestions? Don't want to call Bord Gais if it's a simple problem or if it doesn't matter that the needle vibrates and rattles, we can live with the noise it's not VERY loud.

FYI the PCB was changed a couple of years ago. No problem since.
Thanks in advance for your help.

It might be a faulty pump and is causing the boiler to overheat slightly.
Or it may be a bit of an airlock ,hard to say.
