    Spend a little more and get a Garmin, well worth it in my opinion.

    The 496 is superb.

    Here's a selection from Transair;

    Keep an eye on www.sportys.com . They did have the Bendix AV8OR European for $545 a few months ago, now it's back up to 700 or something. But they may have an offer on again. I find them cheaper than Transair, even when you factor in the shipping.

    VAT???? I don't know, are we supposed to pay it on shipping items like that? I never really though about it, though I've never bought anything of major value from the states. :confused:

    any goods that arrive into Ireland from outside the EU are liable to duties&taxes depending on how much the goods cost and the shipping charge, even factoring these costs in it still works out cheaper to buy from the USA.
    i have one of these http://www.skygeek.com/vxa-710.html to buy here your looking at 600e.
