    Hi there,

two nights ago (wednesday)at about 8:30pm channel 4 disappeared and has not come back. Does anyone know if there has been changes? My neighbours are the same!

We have aerials by the way and are in Balbriggan in Dublin.

I blame it on the bloody recession.

Almost all of Balbriggan would get Channel 4 off Kilkeel on Ch. 42. I imagine that if there was a fault with that, there would be posts from other people in the larger area, anywhere between Clogherhead in Louth and Skerries in Dublin.
Where I live, I've lost BBC1 and CH4 completely due to DTT testing but I doubt Balbriggan would be affected by that.

Are the other channels working as normal?

It may also be possible that the recent bad weather may have partially damaged either the Killowen Mountain or Kilkeel transmitters. Killowen Mtn. was built to give Kilkeel a signal by the looks of it.
