Finding the Balance between Cardio and Weights

I'm planning on starting a new routine next week and there are some things I need advice about. My goals are to put on muscle, while cutting body fat and increasing my sprinting speed. I know that might sound crazy and looking for too much but I'm willing to put the work in. I want to take up rugby in a year or two so I have enough time to condition myself properly.

My ideal physique would be something along the lines of Alesana Tuilagi or Jonah Lomu. Now these guys are pretty big but they can both do 100m in under 11 seconds. I'm not sure what kind of training they would do but can anyone give me some advice on that?

My problem is I'm not sure what kind of balance I should have between cardio and weights. I mean should I just do weights for a while and then work on cutting and fitness or should I do something like a 50/50 balance like weights one day cardio the next? If I'm lifting heavy would heavy cardio the next day have a negative effect?

Another thing I wanted to know is how does one go about increasing their sprinting speed? What kind of exercises should I be looking at there? Squats and lunges or something else? Maybe it would be better if I made another thread for that in the Athletics forum?

Sorry for all the questions but I would really appreciate any help you guys have! I can go to the gym any days of the week, two a day sessons, whatever it takes so if anyone would recommend any routines it would be very helpfull!

Jonah Lomu was a genetic freak in terms of his size/pace. These guys are elite athletes and then some. Train for rugby, but don't aim for any particular kind of physique, because unless you're already naturally big, and fast, you probably won't be able to pull it off being like those guys.

That is a pretty pessemistic outlook on things to be fair. I know they are freaks but there is no harm trying to get in the best shape that I can be. I'm 6ft 5", 100kg and pretty quick I have no idea of 100m times not 11 seconds anyway.
