    Anyone in Letterkenny want it?
    Let me know by tonight as it goes to the recycle centre tomorrow otherwise.
    I think the colour wheel is broken, that or the ballast.
    Might be a nice project for someone...

    Nah, they charge just to look at it and all you need is the space and time to do that yourself. I don't have the space for a big paperweight (unfortunately) or I'd get the parts and fix it myself, it's not that hard apparently but I've upgraded the TV anyway so this is surplus to reqs.

    I'll be dropping it to the recycle centre tomorrow afternoon so if anyone wants it to have a go at repairing it, you've got till then.

    It is (or was) HD Ready 720p, btw.

    have you tried cleaning the colour wheel? this is too good a set be thrown away without someone trying to repair it.
