Playing Baltray in the morning, has anyone got any advice on playing it?

Just went over the card there from the website, 6,716 yards off the whites, par 73, really looking forward to it hope the weather is not too bad.

Not a lot of advice really played it just after the irish open last year and the rough is not too bad as long as you are not too far off the fairway you will be able to putt off the green alot as the fairways are almost as good as the greens, keep it on the fairway, the bunkers are not too penal. Enjoy.

been a par 72 for bout 6/7 years now. there's no rough at the minute as they cut it back in the winters as it was getting too thick in the summers. its not long, but greens are very good at the minute. you'll need accurate iron play as only a good shot will hit the greens, particularly the par 3's, which are among the best in the country. 5th and the 7th are great holes. tis one of the fairest links courses in Ireland, if you hit a good shot it will be rewarded, hit a bad one and you'll miss the green.

    enjoy!
