Anyone ever use this? What game types/situations do you find it useful for. I'm entirely clear on how it shows you explosives and tactical insertions.

    Booster Hunting

It's Pro perk is actually very useful. Makes your teammates quieter and the enemy louder. So you can hear footsteps much clearer. Tough to get it though.

Destroy 120 equipment. A bit much yeah. Claymore's, frags, semtex, c4 and insertions will glow red and can be seen through walls.

I was wondering about sit-rep myself, does it cancel out ninja pro? So you can hear the footsteps.

Yesterday when playing S&D, a guy on the opposing team was using tactical insertion and I kept putting a claymore next to it for when he would spawn... he never learned haha

Yeah, but realistically it's just claymores and TA's to get the Pro part. I mean you can't really destroy frags and semtex, and C4 is hardly used other than maybe S&D or something.

SRP doesn't cancel out Ninja Pro. Ninja Pro reduces your volume by 75%. SRP makes enemy 4 times louder, which isn't enough to bring it back to full volume or anywhere close. So SRP makes it a little easier to hear Ninja Pro, but not enough to eliminate the benefit.

I don't get it. NP reduces to 25%, SRP increases by 4 thereby bringing it back to 100%, no?

Except for the fact you can't actually respawn on S&D?

    Might have meant sabotage??

tactical insertion does not work on search and destroy ?!

i remember trying it when i first got the perk, running around to there spawn in the hope of starting there next round. alas it did not work

Not saying there is logic there, but...

Used Sit Rip for a full days play, probably about 6 hours, and managed to destroy mainly claymores and the odd C4, but by the end of the day I think i managed to only destroy about a dozen devices, very hard to get pro.

Do any kills / equipment destruction from Private matches count towards challenges?

It's easy to go pro when Booster hunting, you end up destroying loads of TIs.

I have at least 2 classes with sit rep pro , absolute must have if you play a lot of s&d. The quickest way to get pro is by playing domination - claymores and C4 everywhere

sit rep pro wasnt that good when I was listing through the TVs speakers. But when I got surround sound Headphones, Id say half of my kills come from hearing the enemys footsteps.

You do understand the point of SitRep yeah? The AMOUNT of people with Scavenger and Claymores all over the place is ridiculous. SitRep has saved my life more times than I can remember.

FINALLY got Sitrep Pro last night. I've switched back to Ninja Pro, and I'm terrified of claymores now.

I find its great for capture the flag, especially when the opposition mash claymores everywhere around the flag. I just pick them off and the enemy are floating about going "WHAT THE FUCD?". then i nail them in the gee with my bullets. fish going everywere

Sit Rep Pro is commonly used in gamebattles in search if the enemy team is found to be using claymores or such :) Otherwise its completely useless unless you are sound whoring.

I use it when defending in s&d. Sometimes attacking aswell if they other team uses claymores. Depends on the maps
