    Hi guys,

I was looking to buy a DAW controller, what are really need are faders in order to write automation.

Somebody can suggest something not really expensive the budget it's around 200E.

What you guys think about KORG NANOKONTROl? Can this be used with PT HD?

    My system

    PT HD 2
    192 I/O
    Mac Pro Quad Core

    Any suggestion it's welcome

There is a nanokontrol botch with protools where it thinks it's an Axiom 49 - but it really is a botch.

So nanokontrol no good for PT 8 at the moment?

Funny enough PT 8 don't recognise my Axiom 49.

    What about the Presonus Faderport?

Hey, you might try, if you're just trying to write automation, a knob box... or a midi controller with knobs... I have an emu one with a zillion assignable knobs and even though it took a day or two to get used to, it was about 100e cheaper than the cheapest fader bax with the same number of controllers (16).

Plus, it's a velocity sensative keyboard...

    Just a suggestion.

it follows the track you are working on. u can also change channels with it's knob. there are a lot of videos on youtube showing how this works.
