For the first Good Friday 'Late Late Show' in 15 years, Ryan Tubridy will be joined by an all-star line-up of musical guests.

The RTÉ Concert Orchestra & Big Band will be Tubridy's house band on the night and will be performing with Altan, Billy Ocean and the 'Après Match' team's latest creations, the River Tenors.

Sinéad O'Connor will also sing live on the show and discuss her life and the crisis facing the Catholic Church.

Another guest on the night will be fashion legend and actress Jerry Hall.

I wonder if Sinead will be searched for a picture of the Pope before she goes on :pac:

The woman ripped up a picture of the Pope on American TV and then was ordained as Sister Mary Bernadette etc etc... So we can obviously expect a balanced, lucid analysis from her.

You should watch her interview on Larry King Live -I have to say I have a new found respect for the lady. It took a lot of courage to tear up the picture of the pope -in hindsight she was standing up for the victims. Who would look back now and call her crazy? She's articulated her point now and isn't "ripping into Benedict", maybe this time people will listen to what she has to say.

    Watch the clips here..

I love the guys normally, but I dont get this River Tenors thing. It was funny for five mins on the LLS one night but dont know how they are getting a full show on tonight.

Tubridy rarely works any holiday, I'd say it's being filmed tonight .. Anyone know?

The Pope believes he has the power to convert bread and wine into flesh and blood, and that God has appointed him his representative on earth. Do you expect a balanced, lucid analysis from him.

    God almighty that sounds crap!

She didn't come across well in that interview, despite the delay she still looked out of it. No matter what she was asked she just kept repeating the same answer over and over. I think it must be one of her worst ever interviews. I just hope she's not like that tomorrow.

Oh God, watching Tubs alternating between flirting/insulting Jerry Hall is going to be cringe.

Rovert, are you stalking JohnathonAnon? It's bordering on obsession imo at this stage dude.

See yall later for the usual fun.

Nah he is just an easy target. Slates LLS yet watches it every week. Additionally his has this bizarre almost impossible expectation on the quality of the LLS's guest list. He isnt alone in all that here mind.

Yep I'm pretty much in that category myself! :-) Sure what harm!

What's the malfunction? :D There's no law against commenting on what you see on the LLS on the thread that is set up to comment on what you see on The Late Late Show

Strange to come on every week to comment on people who are commenting on the LLS

If that makes any sense at all! :)

There is no harm in making a thread at all. It is just the level of vitriol in it. If you don’t like it/him don’t watch. Yet the people who hate him seem to the most consistent of watchers.

Not strange all as someone who watches segments of interest on the RTE player later I’d prefer to read the thread without the tired lines and remarks over and over.

Well I think at this stage you probably have realised that this is just not going to happen. Probably best just to ignore the tired lines and remarks. Just as a lot of people seem to ignore your own weekly tired lines and remarks.

Nah, it is too annoying to give up on. I wouldnt mind if you guys approach it from a it is so bad its good standpoint. But the whole AGGRH Ryan's terrible, terrible guest list RTE canteen something, something like you are expecting something different is just very, very weird. Then to watch the Saturday show as well is even weirder.

Since the Late Late is "proudly sponsored by Quinn Insurances" can we expect it to get worse? Could it?
