Adam and Eve

Although the writers won't have enough time to answer every mystery, this is one that will definitely be answered, as it has been around for so long, and we were reminded of it earlier this season (as if a LOST fan would have forgotten it).

The writers have previously stated something along the lines of knowing all along who Adam and Eve would be, and that it would prove that they weren't making everything up as they went along.

So who do you think Adam and Eve are going to be?

During the time travelling in Season 5, I convinced myself that it was going to be Rose and Bernard, as they seemed happy to live in the jungle together until they die. Also, the fact that a white and black stone were found near the skeletons related to the skin colour of Rose and Bernard. A simple way they could have ended up as the skeletons would have been for them to pass away in the caves when the island flashed back in time (possibly from the side effects of time-travelling, like happened Charlotte).

However, when the Man In Black recently mentioned his mother, I got to thinking that maybe Adam and Eve are MIB and his mother. The body that we saw MIB occupy in the Season 5 finale might have been a new corpse that he occupied, and his previous one could be one of the skeletons, wrapped in the arms of his mother. Just a thought.

i always had a feeling it was kate and jack but now i think it will defiantly be rose and bernard.

not since the donkey wheel has been put back in place and even if Bernard and Rose didn't travel back to the future with Jack and Co, (personally i can't see why they wudn't) they where in the maybe 60 so they wud of lived for quite a few more years. also i can't see how if it was them it wud prove anything

Nothing will prove that they had it planned all along, because they didn't. And even if they did, those bloody skeletons wouldn't prove it, not matter who they are.

Anyway, Jack found a black and white rock on them.



In Jacob's cliffside cave there was a scale with a black and white rock:


MIB threw the white one away and called it an inside joke. Black and white represents Jacob and MIB, so my best guess is that the skeletons belong to their predecessors. That would make sense and not be silly.

...but it will probably be Jack and Kate.

when you factor in time travel it could still be kate and jack and also still be their predecessors

i hope its not anyone too obvious though
