I didn't know where to post this sorry!

So tis my brothers birthday in the next week and my plan had been to buy him a Jack and Jones voucher. So off i sent my boyfriend to the Omni to find out it was closed! and was then talking to my dad who said he's heard it was closing all over the country.

Is this true and if not is there a big enough risk on it that buying the voucher would just be a waste of money?!

If your going to buy it use a credit card so if they do close down you will be able to get a refund.

I'm not exactly annoyed they are closing down, they're clothes have been awfully plain for quite a while now.

Can't use a credit Card! All I have is laser unfortunately! And I would have to get someone else to get the voucher anyway considering I can't get into Dublin this week unless I want to lug my heavy luggage around Dublin before getting home from college!

Well my brother seems to like them and has recently discovered clothes and not dressing like a hobo. He specifically asked for clothes for his birthday! Did the same at Christmas!

So if I can't get the Jack and Jones voucher are there any other suggestions as to shop vouchers or presents to buy him?

Topman and River Island aren't cheap tho! A €15 voucher wouldn't go far there!

The last I heard was they were closing certain stores, not all of them, so no, it wouldn't be a waste of money if he particularly want something from them.

H&M would be good. Often get good shirts and whatnot in there.

If any retail outlet is closing shops I wouldnt advise buying any gift vouchers from them.

Im sure there is something else you can get or a different voucher from somewhere else instead.

A 15 euro voucher wouldn't go far anywhere!

Not strictly true! His €15 christmas present was a dvd and two tshirts (albeit Pennys). Jack and Jones would be handy because there is a few affordable things there. Even those prices would be too much for me personally but I know he likes the shop.

This seems to be the latest on them:

I wouldn't be getting a voucher unless I knew it was going to be used pretty quickly, just my 2 cents. They have some nice stuff there though!

Maybe just give him the money?

Doesn't look like a good risk then really! If they're closing more stores now, i can only see another announcement to the same extent next month
