sky+ standby issue

Have been onto sky and have an engineer coming out Friday. In the mean time has anyone else come across their sky + box going into standby when watching it and not coming out of it unless you turn the box off and on at the socket. Thanks

Have you turned off Auto Standby "feature"? A lot of reports across a few fora show that Auto Standby tends to crash the box, just like yours, instead of just putting it into Auto Standby.
