    Does anyone know if any of the motor stores in Galway City stock windscreen wipers for a 07 model Honda Civic.

    I have rang the dealer in Galway and they are ridiculously expensive.

    there's a store in the galway shopping centre (headford road tesco) that stock a wide range of wipers - got one for my 03 yaris there a month or so back. 20 euro.

    Try some of the spare part shops such as Calbro on the Tuam Road,
    Auto Direct on the Monivea Road etc There's a few others as well. Look them all up in the phone book and save yourself driving around.

    While you're there, i.e. Galway Shopping Centre. you should check the Tesco Hardware/Clothes Store as they sell their own brand wipers for about 20% of the price. I went there last week and unfortunately the wiper I needed was out of stock @ €3.99 so I had to go to the autoshop in the SC and paid €16.99. From mt own experience in manufacuring, both were probably made in the same factory in Asia but different packaging

    Galway->Motors

    Go to Calbro , next to Subway on Tuam Rd or "Car something" in Liosban Estate or any of the others suggested here.
    Take one wiper off, and make sure it's the same length as the ones in the shop.
    NB, some cars have different size wipers so check that yours are both the same length.

    Am in the same boat. Went to a few motor factors but they don't stock the wipers. One tried to convince me to try a certain wiper blade but they don't work either. Got a quote for €60 for the set of wipers from dealer in Galway. If you have any better luck, let me know.

    Oh yeah, tried one of the websites recommended earlier but they don't do wipers for the 2007 model.

    I priced my wipers recently and they are €28 :eek: in Halfords for the Bosch ones, I ordered them off an eBay seller for €17 shipped in from the UK. Everything in this kip of a country is such a rip-off.

    Just so people know, the Tesco curved wipers they are selling are for left hand drive cars, so the wind deflectors on them are the wrong way around if fitting them to a right hand drive car.
