    I read his autobiography and it is certainly very interesting stuff. I doubt there will be any interview with him though ;)

    Who is the interview with i wonder? His biographer?

    Also, is it tonight that Kiernan and Treacy are on talking about World Cross??

    Great runner though i would put his 1964 Marathon win as a more memorable especially in terms of Irish interest being pushed at world record pace for 22 miles by the Irishman Jim Hogan.

    The story of the tribute to Bikia was superb. To run 26 miles, and then stop to remove your shoes in the middle of race, with two Kenyan runners bearing down on you is amazing. Ok so there was a €5,000 bonus for doing it, so it may not have been entirely altruistic, but still...
