You got it right bunnyshooter, yes it's a 12g bolt action with a 36in barell, great range with it.I'll take €150 or nearest offer for it as I handed it in to my local gun dealer.

A friend of mine has a Mossberg 16G Bolt action.(inherited it)

It has an adjustable choke, screw thread arrangement.

It has sights like a rifle.

I remember seeing a lot of Turkey sights (trueglo) in Tx, I was there in turkey season.

i'd love to try a few slugs on paper, may ask the super nintendo DS Lite for a permit

Slugs in a .410 or 16g would be great on fallow.

And safer to fire in areas where backstops are weak.

Think you'll find shotgun & slugs would not be legal here for shooting deer.........open to correction

That I know, but that is where laws can be counter productive.

The midlands is full of very flat land.
A slug drops like a stone due to its weight.

It is legal to fire a high powered rifle with several miles range on flat land, yet illegal to fire a slug which has the trajectory of a rock and is a safe3r option on flat land as the bullet will enter the ground.

Hey, I do not make the rules, i just have to obey.

Slugs are terrible for ricocheting. If your ground is flat, build a high seat to make the shots safe.

I have a field with no high trees, and only a small backstop on th wrong side of prevailing wind.
With loads of deer in it all year round. And Farmers asking my why don't I shoot them.

I can take head shots. But for safety reasons I do not, as If there was a miss the round would be very high in the sky.

90% of my hunting is on hills, just this 150 acres or so is very flat.

Thats a good one...Seeing that they arent jacketed, and unless you are firing onto rocky ground. They are difficult to bounce.

What choke is it? (Might be another silly question that, may know a fella who may be interested in it  ). How many shells will it take, presume three? What county is it in?

Just spoke to him, he's looking for a double barrel.
