    Hi,

Just wondering when an application asks you "do you have a 10 year checkable history?", does that mean you have had to worked for 10 years?

    Thanks:)

Without knowing the questions context, it is hard to say.

Is it a security job or something like that? If so I would imagine they want to be sure you haven't committed a crime in the past 10 years.

    Yeah, I would think so.

If I were you, I would get in touch with your old school principle, and a college lecturer and ask can you use them as a reference.
