Guys for those that do corner or coach have you found any good places that sell bandages and tape for wrapping hands for shows.

I normally buy ours at tesco but it would be handier if I could do a bulk.

You can get them in tesco! What's the quality like?

We get all ours from www.ringsportireland.com in Belfast. Sound bloke, knows what you want. Tape a is a bit pricey though.

Not sure how you wrap I've seen quite a few different ways.

The bandages and the 2 different types of tape we use are all good quality at tesco. It's just that some times I might go there and they only have a few of the bandages or tape so I have to go back in a couple of days or hit sainsbury's if its a last minute affair.

Would be handier if we could get a big batch in and order more as we need it.

Yeah that's what I do. I got sick of running looking for chemists on Fridays

Sorry but I actually coughed when I saw the price of that tape!!

Title have a great sale on in the US, bulk 200 1 inch rolls of boxing tape for $209 delivered... I make that less than 80c a roll. They do other smaller quantities and widths too...

Yes, thats delivered to Ireland Barry... I've bought lots of stuff through them, they have some great deals, the quality so far has been excellent and delivery quite fast.

Some US companies have actually realised the amount of business they lose by not shipping internationally, or like Title not excepting international credit cards and asking us to jump through hoops to buy their gear.

After a pleasant phone call from me a while back, they actually changed their policy.... I sh*t you not!

We get stuff made, buy from Title, and also from a company in the UK when we're stuck (can't think of the name right now, sorry).

We have some very nice hand wraps in the studios from Top King at the mo and for training we have great gel wraps that are only 15 euro.

Want a laugh? Go look at my post in Self Defence :P

Not interested in hand wraps too much Maeve but do you get bandages from the same sourse 1.5inch gauze? Non elasticated! Every first aid supplier we get on to thinks we mean pressure bandages....

Try www.ringside.com for excellent gauze bandages and zinc oxide tape. First class stuff BUT last time I ordered the combination of shipping and customs nearly doubled the original price but still fairly good value.

We don't have any 1.5 gauze but I'll look into it with our suppliers and get back to you guys... surely it can't be that hard to source?

Can someone throw a foot of it into an envelope and post it to me?
