Fraser Island - Recommended Campsites?

    Hi all,

    Off to Fraser Island via Rainbow Beach on friday. Just wondering, if anyone's been before, can anyone recommend any particular campsites to visit? I've heard some are better equipped than others (showers etc) and also scenery wise and whatever... any help appreciated!

    I'm off there in a few days too hopefully (if I can ever get out of Ciarns) would appreciate some info too. :D

    Some nice views here and there, but I cannot help remebering how much the rip off prices spolit the 3 night stay. Unreal, unforgetable and 4WDs should be banned!!

    Few swimming opps unless you have a stinger suit.

    Great beaches runied by 4WD traffic.

    Ideally bring as many provisions with you.
