Is this channel down for anyone else?

The 9 other sport channels are fine, but not +3 (it's showing as encrypted).

Yep not working here either, others are reporting the same problems on other forums too.

Funny enough its working perfectly for me, its normally fairly unstable more than the other AL Jazeera sports channels.

I'm using a Viaccess card btw

Yeah, it's a Viaccess card I have also.

Ah, I'm sure it'll rectify it self once the football is over...

Working again for me now, had to watch the first half on Sat 1 FTA(although the pic quality was great).

Hope it stays on now, NBA on JSC +3 tonight that I want to watch.

As mentioned before I never get a clear reception on JSC+3, except for tonite....strange that.

I left the box on JSC+3 all night, still nothing earlier this evening. Also found I'd lost JSC+4 also.

Anyway, about 7.30, JSC+3 spluttered back into life as did JSC+4, just in time for the game, so all was well

Ive lost +9 and +10 now. Seems to be some message scrolling on bottom of the screen about +9, +10, WC, HD and a figure of 100. Dont say they want more money?

Yup, +9 and +10 gone here too.

Not sure I wanna pay them more money for the additional 2 channels...

According to another fourm they want $100 for 9 & 10 & they will throw in a 3d channel as well. Its a 6 month sub for the 100.

well for us in UK/Ireland yes it would be, but i suppose if your in the Gulf region/middle east you would have to subscribe for the world cup. As long as no any other matches of interest are not broadcast on +9/+10

As long as the other 8 channels show the same quality content they've always shown, I'm not too bothered.

As an aside though, has anyone noticed that the picture quality has deteriorated in the past while. Perhaps it's to do with squeezing more channels into the same tp.

I checked lyngsat & there are 10 channels on the Jsc transponder. I also checked sky it and cyfra and some of their transponders have 13 and 14 channels on them. One of skys transponders has 10 sd channels and 2 hd channels so al jazeera should have plenty of bandwidth for their 10. I remember art a few years back use to have terrible bad pictures of premier league matches but when I could get a live feed of the same match and compare them the feed would be a lot better. I noticed a lot of blocky pixelation on the barcelona match on saturday evening. Hope it doesn't get any worse as its a cracking package. If they had a proper tv guide or epg we'd be laughing.
