Why do many of you guys still believe in central planning? We have seen the disasters of central planning in Zimbabwe, North Korea and the Soviet Union yet you guys still seem to think central planning is a good idea? Why is this?

What planet do you live on? None of the regulars here believe in central planning à la the USSR. When you get formal qualifications beyond Youtube, then critique the opinions of others.

You think this is equivalent to central planning of the USSR kind? If you want to use gold/cats/children as a medium of exchange, feel free; no one will stop you with "legal tender laws."

"Legal tender or forced tender is an offered payment that, by law, cannot be refused in settlement of a debt, and have the debt remain in force."

This puts a stop to many alternative currencies doesn't it?

The people behind Liberty Dollar got raided by tax fed FBI thugs for their initiative with the Liberty Dollar.

So the USA is the same as the USSR, N.Korea, Zimbo?

    Got it.

Um, no. If you want to pay with gold, will the federal government stop you? Is there a law outlawing payment with gold/silver/oil? I have no idea what the Liberty Dollar is. Central planning isn't equivalent to a central bank issuing currency.
