'Loving memory' roses

I have a couple of spots left in my garden suitable for roses and I've decided to put in two of a variety called 'Loving Memory'. I just have a couple of questions about them:

Firstly, are they actually, as I've been told, the red rose variety most commonly used by florists for valentines day? Are they really as classic a red rose as you are going to find? And finally, where on earth can I find them? I haven't had any luck sourcing them yet.

    Thanks.
