Anybody get the limited edition box set from The White Stripes? It is amazing. Pity more bands wounldn't bring out sets like this, it really make you want to physically own it, not just download. Great album, great movie, great concert dvd and lovely book

Not yet,did you get it from the fanclub?
How much did you end up paying for it?
I checked HMV today and they had it plain as Jane version for E15.99.
It`s probably the only limited edition boxset version thingy new release that i would buy at present and i am huge fan of theirs and have heard nothing great reviews about it.
On a mission to get it very soon :D.

Yeah ordered it just after xmas from their website. It was 160 pound, 140 for the set and 20 for postage so it was just over 180 euro. Expernsive I know but as a one off it is really worth it. The box it comes on alone is worth the price, really solid design to it. You do feel like you own something special, a proper collectors item. It helps that the contents is brilliant too! The doc is fantastic. A must see for any fan of the band

I watched this DVD the other day and I absolutely loved. I think the high point of the accompanying CD has to be Jolene for me.
