Sage - how to see sales price in stocktaking report

Hi - I've just started using Sage Instant Accounts and I'm trying to use the stocktaking report function.
I have added an example product with a cost and sales price and have then deducted (sold on) this product - when I run the report the sales price does not show though.

Please note that I'm new to Sage and I've no idea of the advanced functions.

    Thanks,

I've never used sage instant with products and I don't have it a copy of it here in front of me but in Line 50 when you open the products module and then click print list down the bottom and it will print a list of all products with quantity in stock and sales price.

It may be similar in Instant.

    I hope this helps

You should be able to see sales price on the main product screen in the products module. You will see product code and description and price should also be there. If its not just right click up the top on on description and it should show you a list of fields you can choose to see.

in reports your product details report or product list report will show you sales price.

I had forgotten to add that in Instant accounts you do not have any stock so you cannot do a proper stock take. You can create a product and sell it and see how many you sold but you cannot put in a quantity in stock against it.

Instant Accounts plus would let you do a bit more as in you can manually put in how many of a product you have in stock and the cost price. You can sell the product on and see how many you sold. You can do a stock take and see how many of each product you have in stock and the value of your stock.

you could run the product profitability report (by sales price) and it will show activity of products, cost price and sales price in the report, can also be edited by date range,
There is no stock take reports in Instant but this is as close as you will probably get.

    Best of luck
