You'll get the old one with your name in it.

I've 3 brown tax books now (two for the Micra's, and one for the Mk3).

    So what's the car?

if the space for owners on the book is all full they will try to give you a new brown book! tell them you want to keep the original and they'll staple on a piece of paper to write your name on

there should be plenty of space for new owner it was a company car that the driver bought when he was retiring ,so one driver from new ,two owners. the car is a renault nine

Coincidence - I was in a yard looking for parts the other day and spotted a Ren 9. Caught my eye in 'not seen one of those for a while' way.
PM for details if you want; car was complete so there may be parts you could get to keep for spares.

My dad had a scrap yard in Fermoy many years ago, last weekend I was clearing out the old office and I found 50 + old style tax books dating around the mid sixties. Are these of any value to a collector ?

don't go there! They belong to the Dept of Transport and should be returned to them

They're worth a nice bit to the right customers :-) very good way of getting rid of your 65 C 12345678 number plate.

I used to be very anti ringer. But since they fûcked up with the ZVs and now the new import series numbers I really can't blame lads anymore.

Anything is better than that sh1t.

    ****.

your 50 brown tax books have to be worth a tenner each, they are /will be collectors items. I am not referring to their ringer value,
please do not return to be shredded.

You must have a huge collection if they are the only two you're missing

Haha , very witty. I'm missing one too for a Porsche 1985 930 turbo , I also need the car to go with it.
