My TaylorMade cart bag, after years of faithful service, has begun to look jaded so I decided to spend a few bob.

I was on the verge of replacing it with a PowaKaddy Cart bag to compliment my caddy car when my buddy told me that he's had lots of problems with the zippers & stitching on his PowaKaddy cart bag. He also felt that it was over priced.

    Any similar experiences out there?

One of the best selling bags around, any hassle with stitching or zips popping is generally to do with people trying to stuff to much into the pockets. Lots of pocket space, 14 way divider one for each club etc, etc,........you can buy cheaper bags but you get a lot of bag for your money.

Personally I think the Ogio range of golf bags are far superior to everything else out there. http://www.ogio.com/category/view/1/Golf

had an ogio and went back to a powerkaddy one, pockets seem to be in the correct places when you sit it on the trolley. far superior in terms of space too.

Have a powakaddy bag less than a year and have only used it about 20 times due to bad weather so not getting out. Stitching has gone on pickup handle all ready and I find the bag too heavy and I usuall dont carry much in the bag. Rain Gain 6 golf balls tees bottle of water and some eat natural bars. I dont over fill the bag and it weights too much. I also find the extra weight drains the battery quicker. Will be changing back to older lighter bag.

    have one,
plus points are it fits well to trolley and pockets are big and plentiful, the raincover is made of the same material as the bag not a sh1tty nylon cover, this is what tore in my last bag,

also it only cost €120 delivered from http://www.golfstoreeurope.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=1443
(2010 looks same as last years mode)

minus points i thought the full length dividers would be a plus their not I'd prefer 6 and a putter well, they become a bit fiddley especially in the rain when trying to get a club in and out quickly,

as for the price I think its good value,

I've had bigger tour bags that just dont balance well and ultimately strain the trolley due to the fact I had everything including the kitchen sink in there and probably wasn't the most careful,

so for more money you may get a better bag but you may get a worse badly fitting one also......don't know if this helps but I'll play away with mine for another while anyway

I'd rate it about 7 out of 10

I have one, the delux I think. Have to say I have found it to be a good, strong bag with plenty of space. Would say its ideal if you have a powakaddy electric trolley as the base of the bag has a recess for the soleplate of the trolley. This means the bag wont slip and turn during the round.
Two minus points, its a heavy brute when fully loaded so watch your back when lifting out of the car.
Also there are so many of them about it is easy mistake yours for another esp when in a big group at the first tee.

For once, my habitual research before buying has paid off... The PowaKaddy Deluxe ll was selling for €145 in my local pro shop in Limerick...

While I was shopping around, Lee (the Pro) put them on special offer for €99.

Needless to say, I snapped one up. Looks the biz, a bit on the heavy side but solid. Time will tell re zippers, stitching & dividers. :)
