Braces on the medical card

Hi Guy's just wondering you you know if i can get braces on the medical card, i'm not working at the moment and i'm 22 (just in case that information makes a difference) Thanks all, :)

The medical card does not cover braces for adults over 16 years old. And only the most severe under 16's are treated in their health boards clinics, sorry. The medical only covers basic dental care such as fillings and extractions. Also there are big cuts pending on the medical card scheme.

Thats a medical card not a gold card.
