Well obviously fukking not man. But if you don't have nightmares when you hang it over your bed then it's all good. Keep doing it and to hell what anyone has to say about it.

Mousetraps definitely work for catching mice. Can't say that I have any experience of dreamcatchers.

I hear if you burn it, you burn your soul.

You should definitely try it, for the sake of science.

A guy sold me a magic rock that stops me dreaming about Hamsters and for the 20 years since I bought it I haven’t dreamed about them once.

Actual that’s a lie but I haven’t had a nightmare since I was a child so maybe my watch is preventing them or the fact I sleep on the left or maybe just maybe its just because I just don’t have nightmares.

Which seems more likely, a type of placebo effect or magic?

The answer can be expressed as a sum of arbitrary real numbers or properly defined imaginary numbers, but not both.

I haven't had nightmares for like 7 years now. Dreams are quite rare for me too.

For some reason...and it could be my nocturnal dyslexia, I read magic hamsters in the above post. I know what my dreams will be about tonight....

Edit: christ there were two posts since that one...go to bed people...

There is a small statue over in "Ripley's" in Blackpool. Its supposed to be a fertility statue.
Now I know that its all cobblers (probably - I'm covering my ass here in case some African god decides to nail it :D ) but after the wife rubbed it twice and very shortly became "with child" twice, we weren't taking any more chances! LOL

The effect much have stayed though lingering around, we had another two after that as well.
Darn those African gods - they have a wacky sense of humour :pac:

Well, obviously not! It's Native American mythology (what idiot said it was hippie?!) and mythology tends not to be real. We all wear green and honour St Patrick on March 17th, but you don''t REALLY think he evicted the snakes from Ireland, do you??

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Well i'm glad he didn't. How'd you ask for someone over the phone if St Patrick had evicted all the names?? :pac:

I've had no nightmares in eight years without one.

You got ripped off, no matter how little you paid for it.

I think EVERYTHING effects your dreams, so .. Yes they work bit only cause it's in your environment.

If you want to have some crazy dreams, eat Cheese and leave Sky News on :p

Maybe the reason you don't have bad dreams is because of you thinking you can't have them because of your dreamcatcher!

Hoe do people safely dispose of the bad dreams when it gets full?

    Kinda dangerous no?

Couldn't tell you. Worryingly I *never* dream .... unless it's the case that I wake up at the usual time and then accidentally fall back asleep. Then it happens like clockwork and it's *always* a nightmare (never anything nice like Sophie Dahl feeding me strawberries under a tree or somesuch).

Hmmm, I might invest in one of these fantastical dreamcatchers. Can one still buy them at the magic bean store?

Jesus if something was catching my dreams the thing would be sticky and speaking with a german accent.

Would have to empty it on a weekly basis.

Today I was woken up by my son just as I was about to unblock a toilet with by bare hands in my dream. And yet I still wanted to go back to sleep as it was preferable to having to go to work.

I see no reasons to suggest that they don't work exactly as designed.

That design obviously being to part stupid people with their money.

Make sure you don't accidentally purchase the tragically very similar North American poxcatcher.

But be careful - tooth faries have been known to get all caught up in them.

    They definitely do work.

It's amazing how magic really does exist and most people are too conditioned by societies laws (pfff! society!) to realise it, they're all missing out on the healing power of crystals, the precognative abilities of the tarot and the mind protecting awesomeness of litle plastic mobiles for adults.

If only all the haters out there woke up to themselves and embraced the spiritual.

Note: The wind changed as I was typing this and now my tongue is permanently wedged in my lower lip, help me dreamcatchers!

Yes, because god made them, and why would god make something that doesn't work?

Personally, I prefer to hang a false moustache and an elastic band above my bed, it keeps away bad dreams AND alligators.

OP.. go on a major piss-up bender for 4 days and nights, then on the fifth day.. cut out all alohol intake completely... go to bed... then watch that dreamcatcher of yours overheat!!
