The 2nd biggest ego in boxing has been trying to catch up on everything he missed while growing up as a disciplined boxer .

Joe's been dipping his beak into the white stuff , as if his ego wasnt already over-inflated.....
I'd say he's an absolute cuunt when he's off his head .

x2 - turns the best of guys into cocks and whilst I dont look down my nose (no pun intended) at people that use it or even give a shiit that Joe has used it.

Its a pretty shiit drug for people with a hole in their life. But I cant blame Joe for 'living it up' now that he has retired, he has dedicated his life to the sport and split from a long term partner so I say 'feck it' enjoy yourself Joe.

Its generally just a phase and people pass through it, Joe will.

Never thought he was a great fight to be honest.

I love the way NOTW sensationalizes everything, they said that he began "tearing" into Hatton, Naz & Amir Khan, here were his actual comments

On Hatton "The main thing is your health. Look at Ricky Hatton for instance. You know he was knocked out really badly the last fight, knocked out two fights ago, and the reality is he's done himself a lot of damage.
"Regardless of when he fights again, and he says he's going to fight, he's been knocked out by a nobody hasn't he, because his punch resistance has gone as far as I'm concerned."

On Naz: "Naseem, he's living in London now"
"Obviously he had that episode didn't he, where he went to prison (sentenced to 15 months after a 90mph car crash).
"He's quite big. He's only like five foot two. He's quite a size now."

On Khan "He's not exceptional, If he fights against a tall guy he'll be knocked out again. He can't fight a puncher.

I seriously doubt Calzaghe said Hatton was knocked out by nobodies. Not even a coked up Joe Calzaghe is that much of a clueless cúnt.

Yep , he actually didnt say anything too bad !!! in fact the only thing you could question was the " knocked out by a nobody" comment.

These were quoted words. I would say they are true. The NOTW are just bringing us the story, they didn't put the words into Joe's mouth. If not true, they leave themselves OPEN to libel, don't they?

Not that I am defending Joe but it could have been said "tongue in cheek" ... if you directly scribe a verbal conversation it can get skewed as all the expressions are lost and it can be taken completely out of context ... isn't that how tabloids make a lot of money???

seeing as he and Hatton are suppose to be friends, i wouldn't expect him to make that kind of comment to anyone. if that's not having a go i don't know what is.. you'd expect that from a guy who was set to face hatton. that comment is quite stupid, whether he was coked up or not when he said it.

I don't think that's how libel works. Joe was saying Hatton was knocked out which was true, so i'm not sure the minor details like "by nobodies" count as libel.

The gist is correct so i'm not sure you could sue for the little details.

In a way, it would be really funny if Joe said that about the p4p 1 and 2 in world boxing.

No, my point was made in the general sense. Whatever Joe said, the NOTW would have to be careful if quoting him, just in case they may leave themselves open to libel

He implied that Hatton could get knocked out by a nobody, thus whizzing all over what's left of his legacy. He didn't imply Hatton built a career on beat nobodies, which of course would be ironic coming from Joe...

I say live it up Joe, newly single, he's spent years dedicated to the sport, kept in peak physical condition... now that's behind him, he should live it up like any one of us would do with his money
