My mate has a iPhone 3g she took out on contract a while back but had issues with o2 and didn't pay bill. I've tried unlocking thr phone fr her but still can't get signal s this coz the imei is blocked? Is there a way around this?

i thought they only block imei's with reported stolen handsets ? seems a bit extreme on an unpaid bill, usually they will disconnect service only.... & you can still receive texts and calls afaik
dont think there is anyway around it, one of the O2 lads here might be able help you
& get your "friend" to pay their bills ! :D

No, and if there was it would be illegal, and as I am sure you are well aware, we don't discuss illegal activities here.

Also, could ask that you not post in txt speak, it is against Boards.ie rules.

    Thanks.
