wonder if anybody would like to see a projects thread on here ?

with all our different tastes on here & the amount of cars between us ,
im sure theirs some of us that are in the middle or just starting/finishing a project ..

it would be good to get a look at a build/rebuild as it go,s along .

wonder what ye think on this ? would the moderators like a thread like this ?

only asking as im sure theirs lots of this on here & it would be an incentive to keep us at our builds ,as its bloody hard at times to keep motavated

    yer thoughts please .

    I would:)
I always have something on the go and have an old digital camera on standby in the garage.
Sharing the progress with others and getting the odd thumbs up is a definite and often badly needed motivator and of course it works both ways.

But would you not need seperate threads for each build, might get confusing?

Yeah I think this would be great. Would need to be in a separte sub forum though with a thread for each project - otherwise would be just annoying to try to read.

    My thoughts exactly.

Anyway there are several projects threads around already, aren't there? Sometimes they are quiet for some time because there's not much happening and sometimes they are revived by the owner with an update or by a punter asking what happened to the project. That's all fine by me.

And to everyone with a project out there, please post here as many of us love to see cars being restored! Pics are essential :D

I feel a separate subforum would be overkill though. This forum is not that busy as it is...

It could be used by all the motor forums like, modified cars, motorbikes, classic cars,4x4 and tractors etc.... tho,the modified car forum would use it alot too

I see where you're coming from, kinda a "motors projects" forum. Why don't you ask here and see if there is enough support for it and if the powers that be (boards.ie admins) like it?

why not have a sub forum in the classic car forum, that way we would only have classic cars/van projects in there, also there are plenty of project threads but as pointed out they can go quiet for a while and tend to get lost. At least if we had a sub forum they wont get to far down the pecking order.
