According to JR it's unlikely he'll wrestle full time again but may wrestle one last time at Mania next year.

    I used to love Goldberg.:)

I thought he was focused on being an actor?

Why is this a bad thing? At the very least having Goldberg back would be interesting for a few weeks if nothing else, if only to see does he still have the old aura?

I was never that big into Goldberg, probably because I didn't watch WCW back in the day, I was always a WWF man. He had a decent run in WWE, he was never a great technical wrestler but he could put on good matches, he had the stiffest looking spear I've ever seen so that added an element of realism!
Apparently he wasn't happy with the format of WWE programming, too much raunchy segments for his liking. I presume that with the PG rating that would no longer be an issue. He has however openly critised Vince on a number of occasions, saying that he would never work with him again so I wonder how their relationship would work.
His last match in WWE was disgraceful, him and Brock didn't even try that night. I don't really care if Goldberg comes back or not but I guess giving him one last match would bring closure to his illustrious career

if when they bring him back they do it in Atlanta it could work nicely otherwise they will have to pipe in the Goldberg "aura" for his entrance etc

WrestleMania 27, Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia, Goldberg's last match? It would certainly be apt.

actually when you put it like that it should happen imo not sure who would face him though as SCSA isnt an option

Heel Batista. Vince loves his big man vs big man bouts.

He's talked about this some more...
I read that you would love to get back in the ring. Anyone in particular you'd love to wrestle?

"At this point, it's not that I want to get back in the ring, but I have a 3½-year-old little boy, and what an experience for him to still buy an action figure with his daddy represented? The doors are kind of open to negotiation as far as a merchandising deal. If it leads to something else? It's a wonderful day. It's not something that I'm seeking out to do at 43 years old. But you know, Wrestlemania is next year in Atlanta. Hulk Hogan and I put 43,000 people in the Georgia Dome with three days' notice. I've got a fairly big following in Atlanta. Is it out of the realm of possibility? I'd say no. If not, I'm totally content with the way I went out. To be able to get merchandise out there not only satiates the fans but hopefully there have been a lot of people wondering where my merchandise is. The reason why I want to do this is my boy; just trying to be a good father."

I'd like to see him back as he has that star power attraction to him but I really don't see how he can offer something useful if it will involve him coming in and destroying everybody? Surely he would have to job to at least one person to make it worth the WWE's while.

It makes sense to bring him in for one last match plus it'll be exactly around the 10th anniversary of the end of WCW

    Oh really? :pac::pac:

But seriously, it'd be cool to see him back again for a while and I'd say the pop at Mania were it to happen would be unreal.

TBH, he could face anyone of the top tier and it would be an interesting fued. Taker, Cena, Batista etc. Actually think Batista and Goldberg would be great!

I always thought it should have been Goldberg vs Undertaker at WM 20, they were both icons of different eras and it would have made for a great rivalry. I still think Brock should have held the title right through until WM that year and then drop it to Eddie, having Eddie win the title at Mania would have been so special. It was great seeing him win the title at the previous ppv but looking back it could have been done a lot better, I would have given him a clean win at Mania, having Goldberg interfere the night he won it sort of tarnished the whole occasion

If it's a merch deal, then it's a good idea.

If they're proposing to put a 40-something year old who was never the safest worker anyway in the ring again - well, it ain't. I can see how Goldberg himself would want a better send-off than his ridiculous Lesnar match, but sometimes people just miss out on their moment.

all I think of when it comes to goldberg is that horrific botched landing from one of brock lesnars finishers - that whole match was an absolute botch-fest - a fitting send-off would more apt

+ the entrance pyro + pop when he comes out is always epic

I would like to see Goldberg get one last run. Something like a short three month run and keep him away from the titles. He could enter a nice little feud. I would say against Taker, but if its around Wrestlemania time the only three people I want to see Taker face at Wrestlemania are John Cena, Triple H or Chris Jericho.

Goldberg entering the Rumble would be brilliant. Wouldn't even have to win it, him and someone like Batista could eliminate each other, blame each other and set up a match between them at Wrestlemania

I dont mind him returning tbh

YES.. I am in negotiations with the WWE. Looks like 'ole Hogan and TNA missed the boat. Shame for the fans they didn't even try..

I wonder what happened with Hogan the second time round and why he felt the need to leave WWE again. His home is the WWE and always will be, he's done more there then anywhere else, and I presume McMahon wanted him to stop wrestling and become more of a commissioner character...which he objected to?

Guys an ass hole, he wasn't offered enough money from TNA so he went to WWE, dont like him one bit, Jericho said he was a big ass and wouldn't job too anyone.
