Distance markers are yards to the middle of the green.

Only a couple of the holes have particularly tight fairways and tough drives - 10 and 16 - but that's a moot point if the wind picks up. Bump and run is king here, but the fall-offs can lead you into trouble, and where there aren't fall-offs, the rough gets in close and personal. I would imagine at this time of year you'll be have no problem firing onto the greens. Some are well above you (2, 12, 16, 18), some are down below. It's a great combination of holes and a superb back nine.

    Holes to watch out for:
2nd (the approach to the green)
9th (looks easy - isn't. Big slope up to the green)
10th (you don't see much from the tee)
11th (Index 1 and one of the best holes in the country. 453 yards if playing from the back tee and a pair of dunes squeeze the entrance to the green)
15th (212 yard par three, downhill and Index 4)
16th (a very sharp dogleg left and up the hill. It's a short par five but the tee shot is seriously tough)
18th (approach to a green where only the flag is visible up in the dunes)

Thanks very much Kevin for all that info. I will print it off and tuck it into my par saver when I buy it tomorrow. The pics are stunning. My stomach sank at the bunkers ! Having a horror show in them at the moment. Managed to get a bunker lesson late on last Fri but confidence not at an all time high !
Forecast pretty terrible, but will be the same for us all.

Hiya curly, I'm playing in the Munster's too. Are you playing in the senior or junior section?
