Long-Eye-Relief 'Scope

    Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a good TELESCOPIC SIGHT WITH LONG EYE-RELIEF [such as folks use on pistols] - preferably with mounting-rings to suit a Standard Picatinny-Rail. I want to fit it to my classic Mauser '96, with an adapter based on the rear-sight frame. No 'normal' 'scope would do the job as the rear-sight frame is too far forward - it's got to be a Long-Eye-Relief 'Scope!

    Thanks :)

Would you be interested in a Burris Scout Scope (2 3/4x IER)?

Pretty much the same as this http://swfa.com/Burris-275x20-Scout-Scope-P2020.aspx.

I'd have thought it would be ideal for your application.

Thanks for the quick response to my 'ad'!
I've checked-out the Burris and it seems very impressive - with 2 'areas of concern'.
    1. I had hoped for 3.5 - 4 magnification for my tired old eyes!
    2. The 'Adjustment Graduation' seems awfully coarse at 1/2 MOA - I had hoped for 1/4
I'll get back to you if I don't get my 'ideal'! BTW, how much do you want for the Burris?

    Thanks again!
