Spring in Vancouver

    Just a few shots from recent days around here (Burnaby in the Vancouver region) ... we have a similar climate to southwest Ireland but it has been warmer than normal and I would imagine things are further along here this year, they are certainly running 2-3 weeks ahead of normal pace.

    Looks like your Spring in Vancouver is way ahead of us here. No blossoms on the cherry trees yet. Crocuses appeared last week and then got promptly flattened by a hail shower. Grass is just about turning green again. Bring on the Spring growth. Hopefully the weather next week wont set things back again or do any damage to buds etc..
