Good boxing gym to firstly get fitness back then compete?

Hello I am trying to get a recommendation from people's personal experience regarding a good gym in dublin city centre?

I have trained in boxing for two years solid then I took a year and half break. I want to get back into it fully, get my fitness back and then compete. I didnt compete during those previous two years as I needed to keep my brain intact for college.

    Thanks in advance.

Plus, what would ye consider to be amount of time needed to get fit enough again. I remember when I was doing it, two weeks of 3 days per week seemed like enough to wake the body up and then 4 to 6 months to hit that level for competing.

Also, what is the whole deal with getting in the ring for sparring. Do you have to wait until the trainer brings it up or do you express your interest early on? I have had two different experiences regarding this, one where the trainer told me to get in without me even thinking about and the other relates to the trainer waiting for me to express an interest. I really dont know. I was unsure at the time due to the strict nature of the boxing gym. I really wanted to compete and had been six months solid with no breaks, became fit as anything and still didnt get anything. Probably just favouritism. Anyway Thanks in advance.
