Planning for Wood Gasification retrofit

    Hi all,

We're building a house at the minute, with ufh, solar panels (hot water only) and an oil boiler situated in the garage (8M from the house). The solar panels are on the roof of the main house. The initial design does not have a buffer tank involved in the heating picture. If we were looking to allow us to add wood gasification at a later point, and design in it from the start - should we use a buffer tank with multiple coils in it? One for oil, then if/when we go for wood gasification we then connect that into another coil. Is this the correct approach?

    Thanks,

    Fergus.
