I was just wondering if anyone could recommend a 6/7mile run around Blackrock (coast road ish) area. I don’t really know the area well and can’t figure out where I should be starting and turning around etc. The only reason I ask (and probably sound so lazy!!) is that most of the routes around me are hilly enough and myself and a friend want to do a slow flat run tomorrow afternoon after the UCD 5k. Thanks guys!

Or any nice flat run - we'll have the car so we're flexible! :)

    loads of options:

leave your car in UCD and head for sandymount an back - 6 miles

Park in Sandmount strand car park and head south to blackrock and back - 6 miles (depending where you park)

Park in Sandmount strand car park and head North to the end of the pidgin house - 8 miles (depending where you park)

PArk in Booterstown dart station and head South run to the end of dulaoghaire pier and back - 8+ miles

Park on the Seapoint road (south of blackrock) and run to Dalkey and back along the coast road via the 40 ft and bullock harbour. - 8 miles (my favourite but I am biased as this run in the opposite direction would be a regular for me.

Thanks a mil for that Highway, we did 6 miles from Blackrock to the end of the far pier in Dun Laoghaire and back again. Nice and slow after this morning's race and really really enjoyable!! That coast road is lovely and relaxing, especially on a day like today. Cheers for the maps! :)
