Tiger makes his return next week in the US Masters....
How do you rate his chances, personally I think he's gonna be as strong as ever and is still the one to beat...!!!

Yep looking forward to it..but the public will play a large part in his game.If he gets good support he will be aiming to win but a poor crowd reaction will effect his game...if you have a grand lying around might be worth it at 7/1...will prove interesting viewing no doubt

his press conference on monday 5th will be interesting. the press has already been warned he'll only field question regarding golf and not his marital status. same with post-round interviews.

frankly they'd get nothing out of him anyway... his every utterance is a some kind of pre-rehearsed nonsense. every time he opens his mouth a turd hits the floor.

its less of a comeback and more akin to a scolded dog skulking back in the door with head lowered and eyes guilt ridden. if the tour and "the patrons" had any balls they let him know the masters is not for being turned into a media circus and that he not use its high security flagship event for his own needs.

after the masters he's unlikely to be seen until the players or the possibly even the US open.

but im sure the disingenuous numptie will do well.

i can't see him winning after a five month layoff but if anyone can do it it'll be him. I'm really really looking forward to the masters. Four days of golfing heaven.

/picks random thread to throw random trivia into...

    From http://www.facebook.com/golfcentraldaily

"Mickelson went to the Plantation Golf Club near Palm Springs for some social golf. He played 18 in the morning, got some lunch, then went for another 9 with some friends. he shot 7 under, stayed on and ended up with a 14 under par 58. Ominous"

I know he's the big story but I think it would be the perfect oppurtunity for the press to boycott his 1st press conference, for all the crappy bull after the crash the patronising press releases and that sh1t filled self serving press conference at sawgrass a couple of weeks ago,

then on the second day back to the golf,

just to put the point across that without the guys who get his mug in the papers and on tv with the swoosh mark, tag watch and all the rest he wouldn't be as valuable a commodity.

now I'm glad he's back, couldn't care if he wins,he is the greatestthing to happen golf in my era, his personal life is private but playing people for fools is downright arrogant

I'd rather watch the Masters without any mention of Woods.......hope he misses the cut. I'm sick of listening to his crocodile tears.

im not a tiger fan, never was, but i really dislike him now, i want to see him fall flat on his face.
i had a good few bob on tiger to win the us open 2008 but i found my self rooting for rocco( now theres a likeable guy)
tiger is an unbelieveable talent, but he is just not a likeable guy , there is nothing to warm to .
if he comes back and shows respect to his playing parteners, the crowd, and this fantastic game we all love, then its not to late to change my mind.

backed TW for that too myself, lumped on him at 1/4 too in playoff

Rocco's cheesey grin made me sick,if he had the b4lls he would have won

Though it's definitely unlikely he's going to win being 4 shots behind. What a performance !! Five months without competitive golf and he is in with at least a chance.
