    Hi all,

    Am planning to book a sun holiday for myself and my OH somewhere like Majorca / Portugal for September. We're both early 20s and looking for a nice hotel/apartments close to good nightlife (Irish pubs with music, etc). Quietish, clean accommodation close to the centre of things. Anyone been anywhere good lately?

    If you're going to Majorca the most popular destinations are Santa Ponsa and Magaluff.

    Santa Ponsa is over run by Irish so you will feel at home but the little strip of bars is a serious kip. The area it self extends around a bay and there are nice apartments located there.

    Magaluff you could say is the English resort. It is much bigger and has deadly nightlife. The strip has loads of bars and nightclubs. BCM square ( near the strip ) is another great place to go out. If you prefer some space to relax then try getting a place in Palma Nova which is an exstension of Magaluff and much nicer and quieter. Its about a 15/20 min walf from Palma Nova to Magaluff.
